To plan, implement, supervise and monitor the implementation of activities under the Pepper Industry Upstream Development Programmes:

• Develop new pepper planting areas

• Maintain existing pepper planting areas

• Distribute agricultural input assistance to the target groups.

• Encourage the production of premium/value-added pepper through the distribution of processing equipment and farm infrastructure facilities.

• Improving the skills of farmers to increase productivity while implementing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) among farmers.
