The function of the Licensing and Enforcement Division is to carry out the tasks and roles of the Board in regulating the market based on the regulations set under Act 656 (Malaysia Pepper Board Act 2006) to help further strengthen the strategies set in government policies according to the current pepper market scenario in both domestic and outside the country.

It also involved planning, supervising, guiding and monitoring compliance with related regulations among pepper traders to increase competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.
