Malaysian Pepper Board, a statutory body established under Malaysian Pepper
Board Act 2006, is entrusted with the task of the overseeing the overall
development of the pepper industry in Malaysia effective 1 st January 2007. Grading
and quality certification services for pepper are one of the core mechanisms to
attaining excellence in order to facilitate the development of the Malaysian pepper
industry. Toward this end, Malaysian Pepper Board, under the Malaysian Pepper
Board Act 2006 (Act 656) and any regulations under the Act pertaining to the
grading of pepper which may be in force, is committed to providing excellent
services. Our quality thrust is to ensure that the customers get quality grading and
certification services to conform to their specified sales contract. In line with the
requirements of MS ISO 9001:2015 Standard 5.2, the management is committed to
its quality policy to:
(a) | | Undertake grading services involving sampling and certification of grades of
pepper based on specification currently prescribed by Malaysian Pepper
Board. |
(b) | | Regularly review and continually improve the effectiveness of the policy and
Quality Management System. |
(c) | | Maintain a high level of competence and work ethics among members of its
staff in achieving confidentiality, objectivity, credibility, impartiality and integrity
in all its operation of the Quality Management System. |
(d) | | Continually strive towards improving our work processes through greater use
of information and communication technology (ICT). |
(e) | | Annual review of the quality objectives and to establish new objectives, if
necessary, in order to meet customers’ expectations. |
